Maureen began Irish step dancing as a toddler with her grandparents from Ireland. She grew up with the rich tradition of Irish music and dance and is thrilled to have captured it again with the Tallahassee Irish Step Dancers. Maureen enjoys passing on her family tradition to her children, Kate and Daniel. When Maureen is not step dancing, she is the Assistant Executive Director of the Refuge House of Tallahassee.
