Abstract.
In this talk, I will give an overview of my work on brain surface
mapping under the guidance of landmark curves. First I will present a
general framework to compute maps between surfaces under the constraints
of landmark curves. Numerically this is achieved by solving a partial
differential equation on implicitly represented surfaces. This method
has been applied in studying both cortical and hippocampal surfaces. In
the second part of the talk, I will discuss an automated approach we
proposed recently for the joint detection of major sulci on cortical
surfaces.
