From KTTY channel 11 career visit the photo came
in a envelope dated May 27, 1965 with 10 cents postage. I'm in the middle,
likely Bob Turman is on the right and another high school student from
another high school is on the right.

From a CMC 25 year anniversary yearbook. Some of my house mates went
to CMC, and likely I'm getting free food. Graduate students are often
happy when you feed them. CMC was more of a party school than HMC.
Actually I passed my orals and became a doctoral candiate in early
1972, so there is lots to be happy about. I rented a house on Hawthorne
St in Montclair, Ca (1971-72) and sublet rooms. Many house mates were from CMC
(Back then it was Claremont Mens College, it became coed in 1976,
it became Claremont McKenna in 1981.) I left Claremont for Tallahasse
in 1974.
The house was happy, we competed as ``the hawthorne heavies'' in
powder puff football. There were even hawthorne street reunions,
but I missed them being in FL.
They gave me the nickname Doc, which lasted only til I got my
doctorate. Dr Doc didn't cut it.
