MAP 5932 Random Walk Applications Summer C Session MTWRF 2:00-3:20 201 LOV

Prereq's Linear Algebra, Probability and Some Mathematical Maturity

The theme is Random Walks on Graphs and Networks.

We will start by working through Anders Tolver's An Introduction to
Markov Chains, which is free on-line set of notes with exercises:

These notes are designed to be an introduction to stochastics processes.

Next we will explore the relation between diffusion and random
walks. For example, we might use this book chapter from

From here there are a number of possible directions. Some additional
