Retreat Information

The third GEAR network retreats will be taking place in Summer 2017 at Stanford University from July 31-August 11.

The retreats are designed to promote interaction and collaboration between mathematicians working in areas related to GEometric structures And Representation varieties.

The program of the junior retreat will be aimed primarily at PhD students and recent post-docs. There will be 6 introductory mini courses given by leading experts as well as several shorter talks showcasing the work of some of the student participants.

The second week of the retreat will feature research talks on a variety of topics
