Computer Codes for the Bulletin of Mathematical Biology Publication
The computer programs below are for
Bulletin of Mathematical Biology,
vol. 70,
pp. 1979-1993, 2008. They are for the phantom bursting model in
a parameter regime that gives bursting with subthreshold oscillations and
episodic bursting. One code is deterministic, the other is stochastic.
The programs run with the XPPAUT computer software.
XPPAUT is free, and runs on Unix, Linux, and Windows machines.
It can be downloaded from the website of
Bard Ermentrout .
- The deterministic phantom bursting model.
This program has two fast and two slow variables. It was used to
make Figures 1-6 and 8.

Used to make Figure 7.
