Computer Codes for the analysis of birdsong

The computer programs below are for the analysis of birdsong, as described in Journal of Neuroscience, vol. 27, pp. 12308-12320, 2007. They are described in more detail in Journal of Neuroscience Methods, vol. 174, pp. 147-154, 2008. The programs run with the Matlab computer software.

• Deleting non-songs
  This program deletes non-song files. It is for use with a Linux or Unix operating system. deleteNonSongs.m


• K-L distance analysis of birdsong
  This zip file contains a series of Matlab programs for the K-L distance analysis of birdsong. Included is a readme file that describes what each program does. KL.zip
