The minimum polynomial of an algebraic solution of Abel's problem

Abel's problem is the question how to solve the differential equation y'=ay where a is an algebraic function in x. Suppose that the solution y is an algebraic function. The topic of this paper is how to calculate the minimum polynomial of y over C(x) without computing an expression for y in terms of a and x.
